With over a decade of local search experience, I’m one of the most qualified speakers to educate audiences on the broad possibilities of marketing via local search, as well as specific, effective tactics of doing so.

I’ve spoken to audiences ranging in size from 15 to 1500, at both private events hosted by Fortune 100 companies (including one in the top 5) and public gatherings of international trade associations. I have broad experience in speaking to everyone from rote novices to advanced peers, from small business owners to enterprise executives.
I’m pretty no-nonsense and get right to the point. As a founding member of Local University faculty, I understand how hard it is to organize and run a high-quality event–I’m not a “diva.” Give me a microphone, a projector, and a defined time slot, and I’m good to go.
These days, I typically ask event hosts to cover airfare and lodging. Depending on the amount of effort to put a presentation together, an honorarium is usually optional.
I’m most likely to accept a domestic speaking invite if the venue is in the Mountain or Pacific Time Zones, or if it’s in Europe or Latin America.
