Speaking Schedule Thru the End of 2010
MIHMORANDUM NO. 693 | October 6th, 2010
Hey everyone, low signal post here, but I’ve gotten a few emails and Tweets recently asking if I am attending PubCon (no), why wasn’t I at SMX East (too many other commitments this fall–see below) and I figured I’d try to head off some others here :)
I’ll be presenting for darn near an hour next Tuesday at our monthly SEMpdx educational event. Did the Board really know what they were getting when they asked me to present? Come and see for yourself. (Unless you attended my session at WebCAM in Bend last week, in which case you might be a little bored.)
GetListed.org’s Local University series rolls into Northern Colorado two weeks from tomorrow. Learn the ins-and-outs of Local from a phenomenal lineup that includes Mike Blumenthal, Matt McGee, and Mary Bowling.
While the #1 goal of these events is to “spread the gospel” of Local Search to as many small business owners as possible, we’ve had quite a bit of interest (and positive feedback) from agencies and marketers at our earlier events in Spokane, Minneapolis, and Cleveland. You can sign up here — and save $40 with discount code ‘mihm2010′. And if you’re interested in sending a number of clients or junior employees, contact me for details on our Agency package.
I’m venturing to Florida for the first time in eight years next month for the first BlueGlass conference on the East Coast. It is quite a haul from Portland, but what can I say…when Chris Winfield personally invites you to such a prestigious event & you get to share the stage w/Monsieur Le Comte de Shotland, it is hard to say no. No disrespect to my other co-presenter, Alan Bleiweiss, but it’s always an honor to present with Andrew. Sign up here and use discount code ‘dm15′ to save 15%.
The fine folks at AZIMA have invited me to present at their monthly event on December 14th. I don’t have my presentation *quite* ready for that one yet but the early returns suggest it might have to do with…Local Search :)
We just anounced our pre-agenda rates for SearchFest 2011…and they’re a SCREAMING deal if you ask me. Of course, I would say that because I’m one of the organizers. But seriously…where can you hear the kind of top-class speakers that we bring in, for an entire day, for $200? Sign up here before rates go up. I won’t be speaking, but rumor has it that we’ve got a pretty good replacement flying in from the Eastern time zone :D
