Though skeptical of the Internet's ability to bring in new clients, the partners of AEGIS Realty nevertheless took a gamble and invested in a complete overhaul of their formerly archaic website.
The "gamble" quickly paid off. AEGIS' new site went live in May 2006 and after its re-index in mid-June, it began to rank in the top five listings for a number of quality keywords on Google, Yahoo, MSN, and Ask. The design complements the sharp, resourceful brokers of AEGIS Realty.
About a year later, one of AEGIS' brokers, Scott Stone, came back to me with an idea to expand their offerings to smaller clients. The result was a searchable database of available listings under 5,000 square feet, maintained and updated by AEGIS on a quarterly basis. The addresses and details for all available listings are fed to Google & displayed in a map within AEGIS' own site using the Google Maps API.
